Emergency Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital Completed Renovations
Infinity HealthCare partnered with St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to staff the 24-hour Emergency Department with a team of residency trained, board certified emergency medicine physicians in July 2009. Since then, Infinity HealthCare continues to provide the highest quality emergency services to all patients it serves. Recently, the renovations of the Emergency Department, a multi-million dollar project, which began construction in August 2009, has completed its last phase and is fully operating.
The newly remodeled state-of-the-art Emergency Department at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls was revealed on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 to the public. Dr. Brian Pauley, Medical Director, Department of Emergency Medicine, is the leader of this Level III Trauma Center, the only Level III Trauma Center in Chippewa County. "This state-of-the-art facility further allows us the capability to provide cutting edge care, yet maintain our hometown feel to our friends and neighbors who are our patients,” said Brian Pauley, MD. The new 13,000 square feet ED consists of 3 cardiac/major medical rooms, 3 suture/minor medical rooms and 7 "fast track" lower acuity rooms. The Emergency Department serves approximately 16,000 patients annually, and those numbers are expected to increase in the years to come.
