Dr. Hector Aguilera serves as Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Talent Development Officer for Infinity HealthCare. Since 1980, Dr. Aguilera has continued to be active clinically while holding various leadership roles at several hospitals and within Infinity.

Dr. Aguilera is responsible for Infinity HealthCare’s recruitment, retention and professional development initiatives. He promotes continued top quality talent acquisition as the foundation for growth and success which remains a driving force for Infinity. Dr. Aguilera’s recruitment philosophy focuses on a careful selection process to identify the best and brightest partners and to facilitate their efforts to attain long-term career goals. In addition to recruiting activities, Dr. Aguilera is in constant communication with client hospital administrators and Medical Directors in all medical specialties. As part of his responsibility for talent management, he solicits feedback on performance to certify total client satisfaction.

Dr. Aguilera received his medical degree from the Universidad de Salamanca in Spain. He completed his residency training in Family Practice at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Aguilera holds medical licenses in Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Aguilera serves as a Senior Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). He is active as a teaching attending - faculty member for the Resurrection Emergency Medicine Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. Dr. Aguilera holds an academic appointment as Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois, College of Medicine.
